Black Caviar by Marco Genovese

"An elegant pairing of woods, aromatic herbs and luxurious caviar."

Decadent, refined, aromatic

Lavender is a classic ingredient in perfumery, and it forms the heart of this surprising composition. Coupled with sage and rosemary, the heart of Black Caviar is clean, crisp and aromatic. A spicy top of agarwood and cedar is spiked with bright saltiness from the caviar. This leads us through to the classic aromatic heart before coming to rest on a base of vetiver, patchouli and oakmoss which warms the composition whilst enhancing that enduring quality.

Caviar has been a food of great luxury and preciousness since Roman times. Emperor Severus served caviar to the most revered of his guests, presented in garlands of roses and accompanied by a fanfare of music. Emperor Nero, famous for his appetites, was also known to serve caviar at his banquets. In Black Caviar we wanted to capture that sense of timeless luxury by using the finest ingredients in a classical composition to evoke the pleasure of the finer things in life.

This fragrance is vegan and cruelty-free.
