A deep, dark and dangerous scent with no top or heart notes, this fragrance purrs with spicy, woody tones, animalic and intense.

Violet, leather and musks bring moments of contrast to the composition which is unashamedly centred around the intensity of oud. Ambergris provides a salty warmth, lifting the fragrance from the skin with hints of marine air whilst the oud is at times nutty, spicy, woody, and seductive.

Originally created in celebration of National Kuwait Day and Kuwait Independence Day, Alkout is a limited edition fragrance only available in a small number of boutiques worldwide. Each year, we make a strictly limited number of 30 bottles available via our website.

Al Kout is an Arabic word meaning “a fortress built near water” and it is also the origin of the name Kuwait. In Alkout the fragrance, we explore the idea of scent as a form of protection, like a fortress one can wear to surround yourself in safety. Alkout utilises a precious form of oud to build its deeply seductive character, and to envelop the wearer in its precious woody tones.

This fragrance is vegan and cruelty-free.

Ingredients: Alcohol Denat. Parfum [Fragrance]. Alpha-IsoMethyl Ionone, Benzyl Benzoate, Eugenol, Farnesol, Limonene, Geraniol.
