Virtuous, Angelic, Evocative
Puritas opens with a sharp, almost medicinal top. Elemi, pink pepper, and saffron are joined with the bitterness of absinthe to create a fusion of elements reminiscent of an apothecary’s shop full of drying herbs.
As the fragrance opens, the bright sharpness is continued with geranium, leading eventually to a heart which is fleshed out with frankincense and rose. Here we find a moment of tenderness in the fragrance as the fleshy rose yields its delights to the spicier, almost metallic elements. Tuberose absolute adds the barest hints of white petals to round the composition out whilst ylang ylang and jasmine add touches of exotic opulence.
