AURORA 100ml

By Marco Genovese

This bold sensual floral amber fragrance exudes colour and light.

A sensuous spicy floral scent with rose and patchouli at its heart. The oud and cardamom top notes blend beautifully with the woody floral heart, polished off with a warm amber musk.

INSPIRATION

Our muse and inspiration is AURORA, Goddess of Dawn. A vision to behold, her chariot soared into the sky painting the sky in rose tinted hues. With her purple mantle billowing behind her scattering rose petals in her wake.

This scent captures the warmth of the rising sun and the eternal glamour of Aurora and her sillage.

Additional information

Aurora, the Goddess of Dawn

This scent is inspired by Aurora and captures the warmth of the rising sun and her eternal glamour and the scent of the roses she scatters in her wake.

“According to the legend Aurora was the ruler of dawn (and winds).

Smelling this scent for the very first time I had immediately acknowledged its freshness. Amazingly, the creators managed to make a leathery opening of Saffron, Oud with spicy cloves and cardamom smell very airy and breathing! Just like the sunrise.”

Aurora has been the muse of many creatives: artists, writers and musicians.

“Aurora now had left her saffron bed, and beams of early light the heav’ns o’erspread” Aenid, Virgil

“Once more the old mysterious glimmer steals
From thy pure brows, and from thy shoulders pure,
And bosom beating with a heart renewed.
Thy cheek begins to redden through the gloom,
They sweet eyes brighten slowly close to mine,
Ere yet they blinkd the stars and the wild team
Which love thee, yearning for thy yoke, arise,
And shake the darkness from their loosened manes,
And beat the twilight into flakes of fire.”
Tithonus by Alfred Lord Tennyson
